How can your church get involved?

Let’s Talk About It: Fostering Open Dialogue in the Church

Abortion is still a topic that often goes unaddressed in our conversations. During these critical times, the church’s role is crucial in the fight for life. By choosing not to discuss this issue within the church community, we may inadvertently contribute to the problem. Unfortunately, over 50% of women who have opted for an abortion report having connections to a church, and many of these stories remain unheard. Let’s come together in love and understanding to support one another and foster open dialogue about this sensitive topic.

Host a support group

Partner with us by hosting an Embrace Grace support group at your church! We’ll connect women facing unplanned pregnancies to your group, where your small group leaders will walk alongside them through a powerful Bible study, offering hope, encouragement, and the love of Jesus. At the end of the study, your leaders will bless the moms with a special baby shower to celebrate new life. Church-led support like this not only uplifts women choosing to carry their babies to term but also plays a vital role in helping those considering abortion make life-affirming decisions.

The Journey Mom Group

Churches can partner with LifeBridge Pregnancy Center to offer Forgiven and Set Free—a weekly small group Bible study that gently guides women toward healing after abortion. Rooted in biblical truth, this study provides a safe and supportive space for women to process their experiences, encounter God’s grace, and begin a journey of restoration. By hosting this group through your church, you’ll help women in your congregation find freedom and healing—and even equip them to lead others through the same life-giving process.
